HE IS RISEN.

“but help me not forget in darkness the things I believed in light”
something to say
“you may think the sky above is falling, but can you hear Jesus calling?”
…been waking up to this song in my head lately. Weird.
“thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
New Year: go.
When things end, and what was feared to be the worst, the thing you were dreading does happen… and the day following stares you in the face: you are you, God willing in your best form, faithful and real. Nothing could have prepared you for that day, other than the completely practical and rational belief that it was a possibility all the while. Is this Worry, is this Unbelief? I would venture: no. I believe it is wisdom, God-given and in it’s soundest form. I believe it is grace from the one who is most Gracious. No, preparedness is not Unbelief, but instead faith in the next step, the day after the end, the wake, the first light, the curtain after Tragedy. This is the day God revels in, when he finds you cleaning up the ashes, washing away dried tears, mourning at his tomb only to rightly know, Hope had risen. It rises still, and livens only more faith, fresh and full like the first breath outside on a summer morning, biting and present. I do not know what comes next, but only that there is a next, and He is in it. “No eye seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”
faith nonetheless.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him… for those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son… and those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to this? IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? Who is he that condemns? Neither death nor life, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ our Lord.” -Romans 8: 28 thru 39
none can separate us: more than conquerers.
